The Edouard Malingue Gallery is a commercial art gallery based in Hong Kong that was founded in 2010 by French art dealer Édouard Malingue〔(Art Info, ''China's 30 in their 30's'', August 2012 )〕 to show emerging and established Contemporary artists.
==Background==
The gallery opened in 2010 with the largest solo exhibition of Pablo Picasso in Hong Kong.〔(CNN Go, ''Edouard Malingue Gallery debuts with large showing of Picasso in Hong Kong'', September 10 2010 )〕 The gallery has introduced to Hong Kong works by emerging and established artists from around the world. Asian art is also promoted by the gallery. In 2011 it held the first solo exhibition of works by the Chinese artist Zhang Huan in Hong Kong.
